We love books. It’s a love passed down from my mom. We thought it would be nice to share our favorite children’s books with you all. I say our favorites because these are genuinely books I don’t mind reading over and over. Now that Trevor is reading on his own, I do get off the hook a little bit. He loves reading to Jax, and I love listening to him reading to his brother.
Favorite Bedtime Stories
This one is most definitely our favorite! We love Guardians Of The Galaxy and Baby Groot! This story is absolutely adorable. The pictures are just as fun as the story! I like reading it and making groot’s voice, rocket’s voice, and all the action words like: POW!
Yeah, I can’t read this one with a dry eye. By the end I am sobbing and we are all hugging and kissing and saying I love you! It’s a beautiful story that reminds your children (and mom) about the magic of the night you were born.
This one is so goofy. We laugh so much reading this one. It’s a cute little love story.
Favorite Book Series
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (If You Give…)
These if you give a -insert animal- books are definitely a favorite of the boys. Trevor says If You Give A Moose A Muffin is his favorite of the series. The TV show is actually now available to watch on Amazon Prime!
Another book series with a new show! Llama, Llama on Netflix is so adorable. Llama, llama Misses Mama is the boys favorite book.
Curious George is a classic. He’s Jaxon’s favorite little monkey…probably because he gets into trouble like Jax. You can watch this show on Hulu.
Pete the Cat: Play Ball! (My First I Can Read)
These are the books Trevor used to learn to read. Pete is the coolest cat out there. This is a series on Amazon Prime also.
Favorite Books About Animals
(mostly cats)
Jax loves this book. It has all the different textures to feel while you read. I couldn’t find the link to the cat book, but I linked “That’s Not My Squirrel”
Another Usborne book. We love them! Trevor loves this book. He is so into drawing right now. He can sit at his desk and practice drawing animals for hours.
This book is all about cute little pets. It’s so adorable. The illustrations are some of my favorite…kids and little friends? My heart.
The boys look at this book and almost cry from the cuteness. I got the boys this book while we were waiting for our kitty Rosemary to be ready to leave her mama and come live with us. The boys love cats if you can’t tell!
Favorite Feel Good Book
I love reading I like myself to the boys. I make sure to read it strong and proud. I make the repeat me. We have so much fun learning to like ourselves.
We hope you enjoy this selection. I hope you were able to find a new book to enjoy with your children, or give as a gift. What’s your favorite Children’s book from when you were a kid?
Love from,

My mom got my sister llama llama mad at mama, one year for Christmas as a joke due to her love of llamas. But it actually ended up being so cute, one of the best little children’s books!
