Okay, so it’s been a few months since my visit to Flowers & Bread…but I could not forget to share this Columbus gem with you all! You just blink an eyelash extension and months go by! BUT I promise a visit to Flowers & Bread will be a place for you to put a pause on life and enjoy the beauty in the details.
Back in April Derrek and I were in Columbus for the Epilepsy run. To see more on that weekend and our amazing stay at The Joseph – click here!
That Sunday before we headed home I had Derrek drop me off at Flowers & Bread for an amazing blogger brunch. The BEAUTIFUL AND EXTREMELY TALENTED @kelseagunner set it all up…and she nailed it!
Flowers & Bread was the most beautiful place to spend the morning with the most beautiful bloggers! The Columbus bloggers I have met are my favorite people…they are so sweet and truly believe in GIRL POWER!
The atmosphere is stunning! I walked in and my jaw hit the floor. It was everything I want my house to look like. DERREK GET TO WORK!
This place is huge, but in a small way. You feel like you’re in a friend’s quaint, welcoming home…but there is a café, kitchen, floral studio, and outside patio!
FLOWERS
I love that Flowers & Bread works with local farms to bring you the most breathtaking floral arrangements! They offer daily bouquets and custom orders. I love following them on IG to swoon over all the soft, romantic floral photos.
We created these adorable floral snap bracelets. It was so much fun to laugh with the girls as we got creative. My favorite part was when we are all finished and got up to admire everyone’s work. It took me back to art class.
BREAD
This place is not only the perfect place to pop in for casual coffee or lunch, but they also offer events and classes!
They offer so many baking and cooking classes:
Woodfired Pizza Date Night
Chez Panisse Dinner Date Night
Sourdough Intensive
Summer Pickles
Culinary Throwdown Date Night
Dolce Italiano
Brunch Favorites
Mimi Thorisson: A Kitchen in France Date Night
Savory Summer Tarts
We created breakfast woodfired pizza’s with Executive Chef Anthony Schulz! He was amazing. He didn’t judge us as we photographed, made videos, and boomeranged everything he did. He had great tips and tricks to help us mostly me who needed a little help.
To my Cincinnati followers – if you’re looking for a staycation right here in Ohio, I highly suggest Columbus. Make sure to visit Flowers & Bread! You will LOVE IT! Check out my blog’s Columbus Travel Collection for more information! But what do I know…follow all these Columbus bloggers to really know how to live like a local!

I had a blast! It is mind-blowing to think Instagram brought us bloggers all together. Social media can get a bad rep & I know a lot of bloggers can get caught up in the numbers, follow/unfollow game…but at the end of the day…it truly is these lasting relationships and memories that will withstand the test of time!
