I have frequently been asked to share my story & tips/tricks for blogging. This is something I’d absolutely love to share, I love helping others succeed! I have just been so perplexed on how to even cover this topic. I have always felt as if I wasn’t qualified to talk about it, like I had to “make it” before I could give advice. I thought I wasn’t aloud to write about “how to blog” until I had a certain amount of followers, sponsored by the best, received killer PR packages, paid off my debt, quit my day job, moved into a nicer house, drove a nicer car, went on lavish trips, etc.
As my account with Layla, @CincinnatiBloggers has grown I have been blessed with the most amazing new connections! Layla and I started this account to connect with local bloggers and give them a platform to grow! We wanted to create the platform that we wanted to see here in Cincinnati. Lately we have been able to throw events to get some bloggers together IRL (in real life) and I’ve been thanked and called an inspiration more times this past month than my little self deprecating heart can fathom! It’s weird, but it shook me…in the best way!
I finally understand!
I can be a guiding light showing you my journey trying to make it…not hiding in the fear of not making it!
So here I go.
I decided to come up a blogging series here on the blog. There’s just so much to cover!
I’ll be posting frequently about all the topics we wonder about: hashtags, instagram, writing blog posts, content creation, cameras, my blog story, being organized-or not, niches, topics, pitching to brands, staying inspired, and soooo much more!!
Nope, I don’t know it all. But I’m here to share with you what I do know…and do the research for what I don’t know.
