The husband and I were invited to come check out
The Murder Mystery Company’s – Murder Mystery Dinner.
It was something I had kind of heard of before but not really heard much about. When I told people our plans beforehand everyone said, “please tell me what you think, I’ve been dying to know!”
Sooooo here I am to give you guys my review and everything you need to know!
What?
A 2 hour, interactive, three course meal + add in the idea of playing the game of clue in real life! You’ve got a murder to solve, you’ve got suspects, you’ve got clues, and more! The coolest part of all? You get to be involved! I’m more of an observer, so I loved seeing all of these dinner guests totally nail their part when they would get called out to participate. So many good actors at our dinner! I was totally okay with my sole job as being a detective. The husband on the other hand…got called up to help act out a murder scene and totally flopped, froze, failed…and I’m probably going to end up as the next Murder Mystery Dinner story for telling you all that but guess what?!
He lived. We all laughed in good fun. It was totally okay! We are not all Jimmy Fallons. I did feel a little like a mom watching her son on stage forget his lines. I hung my head with a little disappointment. Imrov classes will be his Christmas gift for sure!
Where?
We attended the Cincinnati location at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Fairfield. When I heard that’s where it was I totally thought hmmm…the restaurant was closed then? Nope. They “snuck us in the back to the speakeasy” shhhh…don’t say I told you. But really, how cool? It totally added to the element of a 1920’s mob wedding.
How?
Check out your nearest location here! Sign up for a dinner and it’s that simple! I highly recommend it. Bring your A game if you want to win some prizes: best dressed, team who solves the murder, etc. We had the VIP package and got our fun photos to take home!
Oh and I can’t forget to tell you the best part? You end the night with ice cream!
I think you will highly enjoy it!
