I just placed an order on Ulta.com with my upcoming delivery in mind. I wanted to grab a few beauty items to pack in my hospital bag. I have been wanting to get lash extensions before giving birth – just to achieve the easy peasy – “I gave birth like this” look. Unfortunately being this pregnant – laying on your back for as long as a full set takes – it’s not in the books! So I logged onto Ulta.com to just order some falsies (love these Ardel Demi Wispies – linked) to throw on for hospital photos. Well – going on Ulta.com for one thing is like the 2020 version of running into Target for one thing for me. I added a few other things to my bag that I thought would be great to pack in my hospital bag.
Most items ordered are self explanatory, but here’s some additional info on what I ordered.
– I wanted to get a travel size dry shampoo & tangle teaser brush so I can easily refresh my hair without having to wash it. I love this clean freak and have the full size at home. Who knows – it might be too sweaty and gross to refresh – but if I can avoid washing and blowdrying my hair in the hospital – I will!
-I also bought some gel nail stickers vs polish. I thought this would be an easy way to get an at home mani, but also pack extra in my bag incase baby comes before I get a chance to do my nails. These are easy to apply and last up to 14 days. Both are pretty pink + floral print and have great reviews!
-I needed more foundation & was going to buy my favorite – Este Lauder Double Wear – but I have heard great things about this Maybeline 24hrs Superstay being a dupe & decided to go for it. The Double Wear foundation is absolutely incredible and I highly recommend – I just did not feel like spending $43 on foundation with a new babe on the way! It is so worth it though – just being cheap! I also needed new concealer and went with my favorite Make Up Revolution – it’s a wonderful Tarte Shape Tape dupe!
-Kitsch has the cutest masks at Ulta. I picked up this 3 pack for $12. I love how they are very neutral cute prints – it sucks giving birth in a face mask – but at least I’ll be cute!
I have never got full glam for a child birth in the past lol But now that Derrek and I are no longer taking photos on blackberries & have a nice camera – I really want to get some great photos in the hospital!
Ulta is my go to beauty store to shop. I love their rewards and coupons. This entire order was only $70 after coupons, sales, and rewards! You can easily shop the scrolling list under my photo. Make sure to follow me on the LikeToKnowIt app to never miss a link & easily shop all my favorites and recommendations!
What beauty products did you pack in your hospital bag? Did I forget anything good? I do have all my hair/body little toiletries packed + make up wipes. I will just need to grab some skincare to pack as it gets closer. Should I do an Ultra faves round up? Let me know!
