Allow your young child to engage in “purposeful scribbling’ and practicing coloring in shapes and objects.

PreWalking activities include interacting with their environment. Supervised tummy time is HUGE for development of all skills: gross motor, fine motor, and speech. – a minimum of 60 minutes/per day of tummy time is ideal for development (this can be broken up throughout the day
3. Scavenger Hunts
A Fun Way to Work on Speech & Communication Skills…Scavenger Hunts are a great activity both indoors or outdoors and helps children work on following directions while identifying letters and numbers as they check off their “hunt list!”
4. Picky Eater? Keep These Things in Mind!
Variety: Offer an assortment of foods, both preferred and non-preferred. Volume: Offer small amounts of each food option so the child does not feel overwhelmed.
